In Spring 2007 the pupils of the Stacey Pepper Dance Academy performed for Mardi Gras Productions at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London. This was the school’s West End debut and they were asked to perform 2 numbers for the companies ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ production. So on Tuesday 3rd April 2007 the school traveled by coach from Ipswich ready to perform. We took with us 2 numbers which we felt would show off the talents of the pupils. ‘Do Your Thing’ by Basement Jaxx (which later became the opening number of the school's very own Summer Production) and ‘Coolest Kids’ from the Broadway Musical ‘Hairspray’. Both numbers went extremely well and the pupils behaved professionally and each and every one of them loved there West End experience. We look forward to our next West End performance as we have many things lined up for the future.
