The Stacey Pepper Dance Academy is a vibrant
and exciting school based in the Ipswich Gymnastics Centre, Suffolk
benefiting from excellent facilities including
a brand
new sprung floor, parking, changing rooms, purpose built
studios and a comfortable waiting area for the parents of our
younger students.
The school specialises in I.S.T.D Ballet, tap and modern, but
we also teach I.S.T.D Jazz Awards, Street Jazz and Drama to round
off our curriculum. Our students can leave us with the confidence
of being able to do everything.
in addition to our popular studio based classes in 2005 SPDA was
employed by
Connect
Sports Consultants. Our highly qualified Dance Teachers
visit Schools around the British Isles to lead courses training
School Teachers the basics of dance movements.

Stacey Pepper A.I.S.T.D
Principal
Stacey began her dance training at the age of two at the
Tiffany Stage Academy in Clacton-on-Sea. It was there she trained
in I.S.T.D Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre Dance and went on the
represent the school, at the age of 15 in the Janet Cram Awards
in London.
She also studied R.A.D Ballet, Drama and singing before being
accepted early, at the age of 16, by the famous Doreen Bird College,
Sidcup. It was there she gained her National Diploma in Theatre
Arts and her Associates in Ballet, Tap and Modern.
Having appeared in the West End, TV programs, commercials and
many theatre productions, Stacey decided to pursue a career in
teaching following the success of a small Sunday morning 'Tots'
class where literally everyone commented on how good she was with
the children.

Fiona Floyd A.I.S.T.D
Dance Teacher
Fiona started her dance training at the age of three years old
along side Miss Stacey. They spent many happy (and competitive)
years together training in I.S.T.D. Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre
Dance and R.A.D Ballet. Fiona gained excellent results in all
her examinations and appeared in many Tiffany Stage Academy productions.
Whilst training at TSA she won the Marjorie Davis Junior Star
Tap Awards in London and two years later took away the "Outstanding
Dance" award in the senior section.
At the age of sixteen she was accepted at the Doreen Bird College
of Performing Arts in Sidcup, Kent. Whilst training there she
was a budding choreographer and choreographed various dances which
were used in the college show!
Graduating with a National Diploma and her I.S.T.D Associate at
the age of nineteen Fiona took part in the "Gold Tap" video for
the I.S.T.D. at their London headquarters before joining forces
with Stacey once again at Stacey Pepper Dance Academy in January
2004. Their objective being to develop the school and become household
names!!
Christine Pepper
School Secretary
Christine Pepper is the School Secretary and plays a major role
in the day to day running of Stacey Pepper Dance Academy. She
is a qualified Hairdresser and Max Factor Manicurist who has worked
in many salons and department stores. She also used to style the
hair for ballroom competitions including the heats for “Come Dancing”
and in 1969 won the Weller Stylist of the Year competition run
by John Lewis department store.
After having Stacey she continued hair dressing and became the
school hair dresser for the dance school that Stacey attended;
styling the hair for shows and exams. When Stacey went to college
she joined Burnden Financial Services where she learnt computer
and administration skills, but since the formation of SPDA she
has returned to a vocation which she loves and is helping the
school go from strength to strength.
In addition to her obvious duties around show and exam times,
Tina is also in charge of the school Shop which sells the SPDA
uniform and makes many of the costumes for the shows. Please call
